The river Rhine spans over 500 km in Germany, passing different sceneries and big cities. To travel on it for a while is a lovely experience. This is card No.3 of the "Keep calm and discover Germany" postcard series.

In many german schools it is compulsory to read Goethe. For a good reason, we believe! In case you have not yet and have left school - it is never too late! This card is number 5 in our "Discover Germany" postcard series.

Whether it is a top match of the best soccer teams or of local youth teams, to watch a match for sure is a highlight of the weekend for many people in Germany. Number 7 of our series!

If you happen to spend some time at the Baltic or North Sea coast in Germany, do not miss to rent a Strandkorb. It will protect you from wind, sun, a light rain and is just sooooo comfy! Did we mention the Strandkorb is a German invention?

The oak is considered as Germany´s national tree, you can spot the leaves on some German Cent coins. To be strong like a German oak is a popular phrase - hardly ever reached! 

Neuschwanstein - many stories and myths surround this picturesque castle. Commissioned by King Ludwig II, the imposing structure in Bavaria's Allgäu region is often described as a fairytale castle. It is one of the most visited attractions in Germany and is known far beyond the country's borders.

A very popular snack in Germany is called Currywurst - a sausage with a tomato-curry sauce. If you add some french fries (called Pommes) it makes a meal - not necessarily very healthy but delicious! You find this postcard as the No.16 in our series of "Keep calm and discover Germany" cards.

The Zugspitze is Germany´s highest peak. To climb it is quite challenging, but why not take the cablecar? Make sure to document properly that you have been on top of the mountain!

Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte - Black Forest Gateau. Yummy! There is chocolate, cream, cherries and a lot of other fine ingredients that make it a rich delicious treat and probably the most famous German cake. Try one if you can - or even better, bake your own one!

The variety of different types of beer in Germany is great. They much differ in taste and look. But can you tell the difference when blind tasting different types? Weizen and Pils might be one of the easier ones... Our No.14 in this postcard series - for many it should be the No.1 though!
