Winter Basics

Watching the stars up in the skies. Imagine what is happening there. Looking at well-known constellations or exploring new ones. Maybe you spot a shooting star and can make a wish? This card gives you a hint of some constellations you can find in the winter sky of Germany and surrounding areas.

For us, winter definitely means snow. Let it snow! Making yourself comfortable indoors and writing a postcard or two just feels so good. We thought it would be even nicer with a winter postmark. Good. So we drew a motiv and got a rubberstamp made from it. Yes, we really like it. It's definitely nice for mail in wintertime. Have fun! Winter can last long. Then, when the first snowdrops appear in the wintry garden and forest, it is like a promise that spring will come with the awakening of nature. These little flowers are worth a closer look - there are a lot of different types of snowdrops! All of them are simply lovely to look at.
