World Postcard Day has been celebrated worldwide on October 1 for several years now. We are delighted to offer you a fantastic maxi card as a special souvenir for World Postcard Day 2025. The maxi card consists of a German letterbox postcard by papersisters, a cute “Felix Hase” stamp from 2014, and the matching special postmark from Deutsche Post in honor of World Postcard Day 2025. Each card is unique. October 1st 1869 marked the beginning of a worldwide success story - the first portcard ever started its journey in Austria-Hungary. Even nowadays, sending and receiving of postacard still is a beloved tradition. On October 1st 2019 many people celebrated the 150th anniversary of the postcard. Following this tradition, Postcrossing declared October 1st to be World Postcard Day.
