More than 680.000 people in 211 different countries around the globe share one passion - sending postcards to randomly selected strangers. And, in return, receiving postcards back to their own mailboxes where it makes a nice difference with all the bills and commercial mail that usually floods your mail. Snailmail at its best, connecting people. A card can travel to another continent, to a country that you have never heard of and will most probably never visit, or it might just reach somebody in your own town. All this is possible thanks to the great idea of portugese Paulo Magalhães who founded Postcrossing almost 12 years ago. He is still dedicating his time and passion to this project together with Ana Campos.
Once we hear of it, we were hooked! Both of us papersisters joined Postcrossing in 2012 and still write on. (Oh, and we had a very special Postcrossing moment!)
Postcrossing was a big motivation for us to start papersisters. We wanted to create cards that we dreamt of sending ourselves. Do something that we love. And we are happy about it, every day.
